The Pouring Spot has moved from a rental location to owning a building in Pulaski.

The non-profit organization moved from North First Street to 200 East Jefferson Street just off the public square.

Visitors and friends enjoyed a grand opening during  SOULStice on Saturday.

According to Renee Malone, funds from the WKSR Radio auction in January was used for a partial down payment on the new location, building repairs , purchasing one new computer and art supplies.

She said the community has provided donations ranging from $10 to $500 and volunteers are so appreciative.

The Pouring Spot's focus to fun, free food and many hands on learning with a safe, supervised and supportive atmosphere.

Malone said approximately 60 students visit The Pouring Spot each week ranging from 13 to 15 years old.
