A  2.2 magnitude earthquake was reported near Loretto, Monday morning. 

The quake happened around 6:40 a.m., about six miles west of the town. 

There were no reports of any damage. 

Loretto  has a very low earthquake risk, with a total of 5 earthquakes since 1931.

The USGS database shows that there is a 0.35% chance of a major earthquake within 50 miles of Loretto the next 50 years.

The largest earthquake in Loretto was a 3.4 Magnitude reported in 1989.
