For more than a decade the city of Lynnville has celebrated the county's abundance of blackberries with a festival downtown and this year is no exception.

The Blackberry Festival is Saturday, June 22 with vendors lining downtown and ready to sell their wares around 8 a.m. Booths will include crafts and food.

Anytime of the day, children are invited to decorate the streets with their chalk art.

Performing during the day will be Laura Lane and Michael Jacobs

At 6 p.m., a street dance will begin, featuring Goodspring Band.
