The Giles County Board of Education will meet Thursday at Bridgeforth Middle School.

In new business, the board will hear the Giles County Schools Internal School Funds Management Report; first reading polices on Tobacco Free Schools and Alternative Credit Options; budget amendments; differentiated pay; Emmett Smith and Associates Professional Services contract and agreement; disposal of surplus at Richland Elementary;  and Director of Schools Phillip Wright's health condition.

Supervisors, the assistant director and director are scheduled to give reports.

Wright's  three year contract is once again tabled.

The board will consider an overnight field trip for Giles County High School HOSA to attend the Nationals in Orlando.

The 5 p.m. meeting is open to the public.
