Project Sweet Peas Jamboree will be Saturday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ardmore Town Park. There will be carnival games, vendors, food, silent auction, superheroes, Chase from Paw Patrol, surprise princesses and fun for the entire family.

Admission is free and wristbands for kids will be $5 and include unlimited access to bounce houses, games, train rides and crafts.

Proceeds go to the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) in Huntsville, Birmingham and Tuscaloosa.

Other events in Ardmore and Elkton includes Line dancing which is  held every Tuesday and Friday from 9 until 11 a.m. at the Ardmore Annex building.

Elkton Heyday will be Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Elkton City Park. A day filled with fun activities for the entire family is planned. There will be vendor booths, food, softball tournament, cornhole tournament, 2 vs. 2 basketball tournament, silent auction and battle of the bands.

All proceeds go toward the purchase of a new police car for the City of Elkton.

Pickin' and Grinnin' is held every Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Ardmore Annex Building with donations being used for memorials, upkeep of equipment, supplies and occasional food events.
