A Lynnville man waived his rights to sentencing hearing and appeal Thursday in Circuit Court .

Jordan Wade Hindman, 28, was charged in June 2018 with two accounts of Attempted Second Degree Murder, Violation of order of Protection, two counts of Aggravated Assault, three counts of vandalism, aggravated burglary, firearms used in dangerous felony and Aggravated Stalking.

Along with his attorney John Colley III,  Hindman accepted a sentence of 8 years in prison at 30 percent, with credit of 79 days in jail and inpatient rehab, and will pay $5,000 in restitution.

He also agreed to pay a minimum of $100 per month towards fines, cost and restitution beginning 30 days after being released from incarceration

Hindman was taken directly into custody by the Giles County Sheriff's Department.

In 2018, he was arrested after allegedly chasing his ex-wife in his truck and firing a rifle multiple times.

The victims later called the sheriff's office told them Hindman had run into the back of their vehicle several times with his black GMC pickup truck along Robertson Fork Road.

Eventually, the victims stopped at a store on Buford Station Road where he allegedly began yelling at the victims and hit the driver, knocking his glasses off.

According to police, he also went to his ex-wife's home and shot holes into two vehicles and an ATV.
