Federal, state, county and city offices, as well as banks and post offices, will be closed Monday in observance of Memorial Day. 

Other local businesses closed Monday include The Pulaski Electric System, the Giles County Senior Citizens Center and the Giles County Public Library.

Garbage regularly scheduled for pick-up on Mondays will be picked up on Tuesday due to the Memorial Day holiday.

Also, Monday garbage pick-up in Elkton will be Tuesday due to the holiday.
