The Columbia Police Department is searching for two suspects who carried out an early morning robbery last week.

The police department say two hooded individuals robbed a woman at the night deposit box of First Farmers and Merchants Bank, located at 901 Nashville Highway before fleeing the scene.

Reports show the victim was making a  deposit when two black males, both described as being between 5′11″ and 6′03″, one wearing a blue hoodie and the other a gray hoodie, wearing blue jeans and sneakers ran to her vehicle, grabbed her and stole the deposit.

Both males had their faces covered and had their hoods tightened, according to the police.

Any person with information that may assist in this or any other investigation is encouraged to contact the Criminal Investigations Division of Columbia Police Department at (931) 560-1670.
