The Giles County Sheriff's Department has reported a Richland School student has been found and is safe.

Reports show the girl ran away from school Monday afternoon in a dark color lowered s10 truck and was found a few hours later.

Sheriff Kyle Helton said the student has been released to the Tennessee Department of Children's Service.

"Glad she was found safe and unharmed, " Helton said.
