A Giles County man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Highway 31 North near Riversburg Curve.

Nathan Gomillion was northbound on his way home from work when his motorcycle left the highway during Thursday's rain showers.

Gomillion was airlifted from the scene to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with multiple broken bones and a concussion.

Cause of the accident was not available from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
