Investigators with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a homicide that occurred at 950 Turnpike in Summertown.

Barbara Lois Harris, 51, was found dead from what appeared to be foul play.

A person of interest in the case is Howard Jason Stewart, 39, of Lena, Mississippi, and investigators are seeking his whereabouts. Stewart may be driving a 2015 Dodge 1500, white in color, which is considered stolen from the victim.  Active warrants are on file for the theft of the vehicle.
