On the local sportscard for this weekend ...

The Giles County High School Bobcats football game against the Pearl Cohn Firebirds has been cancelled tonight. The game will be played Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Sam Davis Stadium and will be heard on WKSR 100.9 FM, 1420 AM.

Again, tonight's football game between the GCHS Bobcats and Pearl Cohn Firebirds has been cancelled but will be played Saturday at 1 p.m. at Sam Davis Stadium.

The Richland Raiders will square-off against the Mt. Pleasant Tigers tonight at Wayne Hobbs Stadium with a 7 p.m. kickoff. The game will be aired tonight on WKSR FM and AM.

The U-T Vols will start their season Monday, taking on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets here on AM-1420 and 100.9 FM WKSR.
