Residents in the county are urged to apply for a free Giles County Public Library Card to gain access to all the a variety of services.

 Out-of-county residents may obtain a card for $10 or free if their home library participates in the Tennessee Library Card system.

 In addition to shelves of  books, the library card gives a person free access to online book downloads, audiobooks, music CDs, DVDs, pre-loaded Nooks, computer courses, computer access, mobile hotspots, Kill-A-Watt meters, boating safety exams, programs, book club, writer’s club and more.
