The Town of Ardmore Mayor and Council held their regular monthly meeting last week in the council chambers.

Sidewalk project bids were considered during the meeting,  but no decision was made. The council is waiting to hear Morell Engineering's suggestions before making a decision.

Permission was granted for the Ardmore High School Ag Department to keep sheep and a goat at school for teaching purposes only, with the Town holding no responsibility.

Property located at 28046 Main Street was rezoned to Industrial for Ardmore Auto Sales to relocate and permission given for auto sales.

Ordinance 04-08-19 Animal Control was approved by the council. A copy of the ordinance may be seen at Ardmore Town Hall,  Water Department or Police Department.

Council members approved landscaping at Town Hall and  painting bathrooms and repairing the parking area at the town park.

The next regular meeting of the Ardmore Town Council will be Monday, May 13 and is open to the public.
