Clothe Our Kids of Giles County and Ardmore celebrated its first anniversary in March.

The non-profit business collects and distributes used clothing and shoes, along with new socks and underwear in sizes newborn to adult.

Money collected is used to purchase needed clothing items and to meet operational costs.

The mission of Clothe Our Kids is to work directly through local schools, churches and Department of Children's Services as a resource  to provide needy at-risk children with clothing.

According to Cabby Blade, the community has been generous donating items, but donations are especially needed to help cover operating expenses.

The non-profit is located on 26316 Saving Center Drive in Ardmore behind First National Bank.

Gently used clothing, new socks or underwear can be dropped in boxes at the Ardmore location or  Giles County Board of Education.
