The Loretto High School Band has been selected to represent the state of Tennessee in the National Memorial Day Parade. The parade takes place on May 27th.

Being chosen to represent the entire state of Tennessee in Washington D.C. is a huge honor, but it takes money to get there. The parade is 41 days away and they are currently short of their $60k fundraising goal. But the band KISS is providing assistance to help them reach their goal.

The Loretto High School Band originally reached out to KISS asking for a donation to a fundraising auction but KISS had an even better idea. They invited the band to their concert show Tuesday night at Bridgestone Arena as the fans went inside to see the show.  They played KISS favorites as well as a few marching band songs to get the crowd pumped up!

And Band Director Darrell Boston jumped at the chance to play outside the concert because he's a lifelong KISS fan.

The band is accepting donations at Bridgestone Arena, through their website. They still have a little over $20,000 to go before they reach their goal. Help Loretto High School get to Washington D.C. by going to lorettoband.com.
