The Pulaski Board of Mayor and Aldermen unanimously approved an ordinance on first reading to rezone property located on East Jefferson Street from R-3 to R-5.

Mayor Pat Ford said the property belongs to Billy Brown and plans are to build additional cottage style homes on the property. A public hearing was set April 23 for second reading.

The board also approved resolutions to correct orders for West College Street sewer replacement  because of reduction in price, and also with Wright Paving on State Paving Project to change billing from tonage to square yards plus a safety board that has already been approved by Tennessee Department of Transportation.

Bids were opened during Tuesdays noon meeting on a pickup truck for Parks and Recreation Department.  Sharp Motor Company was awarded the bid for a 2019 RAM 1500 Regular Cab totaling $22,169.

The mayor and alderman with absent of Vicky Harwell voted satisfactory on the present contract for City Administrator Terry Harrison.

Mayor Ford said they were voting satisfactory or unsatisfactory on the contract that is in place and the yearly evaluation including salary will be in August when the contract expires.. The vote is an indication to renew his contract, Ford added.
