A Giles County woman was arrested Friday following a traffic stop in Lawrenceburg.

According to reports , Lawrence County Sheriff's Department initiated the stop on Lanning Road just off Pulaski Highway near New Prospect for a break light violation.

Kristen Nicole Oertle, of Pulaski, was found in possession of 6 grams of methamphetamines along with drug paraphernalia including digital scales, baggies, syringes and meth pipe.

Ortle faces charges of possession of methamphetamines for resale, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule 3.
