The Giles County Sheriff's Department helped Monday in the search for a Limestone County man who was thought to be in this area.

According to Lieutenant Investigator Jay Stinnett of the Limestone County Sheriff's Department, his office had several warrants to serve Kendrick Vincent Nail, 40, including for theft and in possession of stolen property.

Giles County Chief Deputy Tommy Chapman said Nail also may be a subject of their investigation into the theft of a trailer and equipment. Law enforcement from two states and at least five counties are interested in Nail for other cases of stolen property, Chapman added.

On Monday, Nail was thought to have been at a residence in the north end of the county, where he was spotted in the front yard, according to Chapman. A foot chase commenced, but Nail was caught in the end.

"This is what happens when you're working in a multi-jurisdictional cooperative effort," said Giles County Sheriff Kyle Helton. "You get your man."
