A  Lawrenceburg mother that was charged in January with child neglect in the abuse of her baby was released Monday night from the Lawrence County Jail.

27-year-old Brooklyn Tidwell, was charged in January with aggravated child neglect and the baby's father, 30-year-old Michael Fisher, was charged with attempted first degree murder.

Fisher  remains in jail on a $500,000 bond

Tidwell's  bond was set at $50,000,  and records indicate a professional bondsman posted her bail.

She is charged with neglect because the mother allegedly did not seek medical attention for the infant.

The baby girl suffered multiple broken bones, severe internal injuries and bleeding on her brain. She received medical attention from Vanderbilt's Children Hospital for several weeks and was later released to family members.
