A Lawrenceburg woman injured in a senior housing complex fire last week has died from her injuries.

Brenda Joyce Patterson Judkins  passed away Thursday  after a fire destroyed multiple apartments at the Crockett Senior Housing Complex.

According to her daughter,  she was loved by friends and family .

Fire and rescue crews responded to the call last week  at the senior complex on Old Florence Road. 

Firefighters said they immediately found a resident critically wounded.

A manager at the Crockett Senior Housing Complex said 8 families have been displaced.

One resident said many of the displaced residents have nowhere to go and are looking for any help possible.
