A supplier of meth and heroine to southern Middle Tennessee is behind bars in Maury County.

 

The Maury County Sheriff’s Department said Barry Watkins, 40, was charged with possession of heroin and meth for resale, possession of a firearm, drug paraphernalia and altering the serial numbers of a vehicle.

 

Watkins remains in the Maury County Jail on a $113,500 bond after being arrested in a drug bust .

 

A booking report from the department lists Watkins as a resident of Santa Fe and occupation as a mechanic.

 

The offenses range from Class A felonies to Class E felonies all with an increasing sentence of incarceration. A Class A felony carries a range of 15 to 25 years, a Class B felony carries a range of 8 to 12 years, a Class C felony carries a range of 3 to 6 years, a Class D felony carries a range of 2 to 4 years, and a Class E felony carries a range of 1 to 2 years.
