A Pulaski grocery store owner was recently recognized as Chamber Member of the Year.

Jon Johnson of Johnson’s Foodtown accepted the award during the annual Giles County Chamber Banquet.

A highlight of the event was the recognition of several businesses for their impact on the community.

Twenty-five year awards were presented to First Farmers & Merchants Bank, Gerald’s Auto Body, Greg Lemon CPA, Pat McNeese, and South Central Tennessee Workforce Alliance.

Pulaski Publishing and Sharp Motor Company received tokens of appreciation for 75 years of membership, which is the length of time an actual role of members has been kept.

Courtney Clem of First Realty Group was awarded Ambassador of the Year.

Cindy Nesbitt and the team from the Giles County Public Library were presented the award for Non-Profit Organization of the Year.

LewLew’s received the award for Small Business of the Year.

First National Bank was presented the award for Business of the Year.

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System Pulaski was announced as the Chamber Industry of the Year.

Chamber CEO Jessie Parker, President Tamieka Russell and Past President Jodie Lewter presented the awards.
