District Principal, Supervisor and Teachers of the Year were recognized during the Giles County School Board meeting.

Cathie White, principal at Bridgeforth Middle School and Rose Brown, Supervisor Federal Programs Supervisor/Special Ed  accepted the honor as principal and supervisor.

District teachers of the year were Shannon Bass, Minor Hill School; Missy Lock, Richland School and Brock Wright, Richland High School.

The board also recognized school level teachers of the year. They were Pre-K through fourth grades,  Tammy Guadette, Shannon Bass, Kristie Musgrove, Rebecca Clark and  Lauren Lake.

Grades 5 through 8, Connie Benson, Terrance Cross, Laura Richardson, Alicia Perkins, Missy Locke and Hannah Tomerlin.

Ninth through 12th grade, Leatha Bates and Brock Wright.
