Congratulations to Richland  HOSA students for placing in their competitive event at regional competition.

Winners were, Haley Sands, fifth place nursing assisting; Kiara Anderson, third  place Dental Terminology; Emily Russell, third place human growth and development; Hannah White, third place home health aide; Brooklyn Ashmore, second place medical terminology; and Halle Braden, first in human pathophysiology.

HOSA is an instructional tool that works best when it is integrated into the curriculum and classroom. Those who join the HOSA Partnership recognize the importance of providing students with training far beyond the basic technical skills needed for entry into the health care field. The rapidly changing health care system needs dedicated workers who, in addition to their technical skills, are people oriented and capable of playing a leadership role as a member of a health care team.
