Gas prices in Tennessee increased the past 13 consecutive days for an average total of 15 cents per gallon.


Tennessee drivers are now paying an average price of $2.19 per gallon for regular unleaded, the highest daily average price so far this year. Sunday’s state average is 10 cents more than a week ago, and 13 cents more than this time last month. Regardless of the recent increase, Tennessee drivers are still paying 12 cents per gallon less than this time last year.


Most expensive gas price averages in Tennessee are Nashville $2.24 a gallon, Jackson $2.22, and Morristown $2.19.


The Least expensive gas price averages in the state are Clarksville-Hopkinsville $2.15 a gallon, Johnson City $2.15, and Memphis $2.15.


Locally gas prices are averaging around $2.18 a gallon.
