It’s time once again for Giles County’s annual Radio Auction, and this year’s auction proceeds will benefit The Pouring Spot Teen Center.

Their mission is to provide a safe hangout for local teens that offers social, academic and individual support.

On average, the center serves 20-30 youth each day and with the benefits from the auction will come the opportunity to serve even greater numbers.

Many unique items have been donated to the auction including an 84X100 inch, queen sized handmade quilt by the Quirky Quilters, goods and services from local businesses, framed art, home décor, candles, cookbooks, and sports memorabilia.

If you would like to donate an item for the auction drop it off at the Agri Park Saturday from 8:00-12:00noon.

Giles County bakers will have cakes, pies, cookies, candy and much more. These items should be dropped off at Volunteer Hall at the Agri-Park each Sunday morning of the auction beginning at 8:00am.

The bidding starts at 12:30 this Sunday and the following Sunday and goes until 10:00pm. Listen on 100.9, 107.7, 1420 AM, PES channel 16, or online at wksr.com.
