The Pulaski Board of Mayor and Aldermen opened bids on a few different projects at Tuesday's regular session meeting.

Bids were opened for a new fire truck for the Pulaski Fire Department; contracts for sewer system improvements and Green Acres sewer rehabilitation and the Wauford Project.

On a motion, each set of bids have been referred to City Administrator Terry Harrison to meet with the city's engineer concerning the sewer system improvements and rehabilitation; to meet with Greg Davenport, a contract engineer with J.R. Wauford and Company of Nashville, about Project Number 2074; and with Pulaski Fire Chief Don Collins about the fire truck.

Harrison will bring before the board the best and lowest bids for the board's approval.

Pulaski resident Joyce Vernon came before the board at the meeting asking for help with a flooding problem at her home on Horseshoe Street. She said she thinks the water is coming from Toll Gate Road.
