This year's Campbellsville Heritage Festival will honor the founding families of the community.

If your ancestors were living in the Campbellsville area before 1820, fill out a simple form giving your generations leading back to one of the founding families. The Campbellsville Area Association will present certificates in honor of your family's part in settling Campbellsville if you submit an application before the deadline of Sept. 1.

The Campbellsville Heritage Festival will be held Oct. 7.
