Hundreds of cyclists from across the nation will soon converge on parts of the volunteer state, according to reports. 

Tennessee state parks will host the 28th annual Bicycle Ride Across Tennessee Sept. 16-20. 

The five day ride will take participants from Montgomery Bell State Park in Dickson To David Crockett Park in Lawrenceburg, where riders will stay overnight to Natchez Trace, Paris Landing, and Pickwick Landing state parks. 

The journey will take riders 380 miles through Middle and West Tennessee.
