Police are warning Netflix subscribers of a new possible scam targeting customers through email.

An Ohio Police Department posted to Facebook, warning customers that criminals are creating emails designed to steal your personal information by asking customers to update their payment method.

An email was sent to a police officer who claims he does not have a Netflix account. 

Don't click any links included in the email. Check the phone numbers listed and also notice the name of the person the email is addressed to specifically. 

If you’re not sure about any emails you get don’t open them, simply hit delete, and never give out any personal information if you don’t know who they’re from.
