A Lawrenceburg business was among several organizations nationwide that received a bomb threat Thursday.   First Class Charter was threatened around 1 pm.

Members of the Lawrenceburg Police and Fire departments responded to the Buffalo Road business but found no evidence of an explosive device.  Normal operations at the charter bus company resumed shortly thereafter.

In all cases, emails were sent to random businesses and schools demanding bitcoins in exchange for not detonating a device they claim to have placed in each building. This turned out to be a hoax that is believed to have come from overseas. Police say they have found nothing suspicious at any of the locations.
