STAAR Theatre’s annual performance of The Nutcracker, with nearly 80 local dancers and performers, including the Mouse King, a giant gingerbread house and the Sugar Plumb Fairy, will begin Thursday and Friday, at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, Dec. 8th, at 1 p.m. and a  Sunday matinee  performance, at 2 p.m.

Dancers from the Pulaski Performing Arts Center again lead up to the annual performance, and veteran director MaryAnn Trimble will share in the direction of the cast.

A display of hand-carved nutcrackers will also be displayed in the theater's front window during the run of the production.
