A Lawrence county man is missing this morning and a silver alert has been issued.  

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department said 86-year-old William Rufus Beck was last seen around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday when he left a funeral service at Neal Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg.

Beck did not return home from the funeral and reportedly has dementia and an unknown heart condition. He is described as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 140 pounds with black/gray hair and blue eyes.

He is believed to be in a green 2006 GMC Sierra truck with Tennessee license plate 950YZW. Anyone with information is asked to call the Lawrence County Sheriff at 931-762-3626.
