Public hearings are planned Friday, Dec. 14, as part of a process for the city to annex approximately 20 acres in the Dan Speer Industrial Park South.

The Giles County Growth Committee, voted Nov. 30 to start the process, requested by the city of Pulaski.

For the annexation to become official, the city of Pulaski will need to provide a plan of services for the area on which Integrity Tennessee plans to build a sister company.

When the other industrial park land was annexed, this part was not, according to Giles County Executive Melissa Greene, who represented the county at the meeting.

After the 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. public hearings, the committee will vote whether to continue the annexation process, which will involve review by the county planning commission.
