A tip led to the arrest of two people and the recovery of several items taken in recent burglaries.  

According to reports, officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department responded to a residence on Beckman Avenue on Sunday to check on a possible stolen golf cart.  Upon arrival the cart was located and the victim identified the cart as the one that had been stolen from the Dura Warehouse.  

Consent to search the property was given and numerous items were recovered including scientific instruments and glass equipment believed to be stolen as well as other items linked to other thefts.  

William Lee Moses and Anthony Schwartz were both detained for questioning.  Moses was later arrested and charged with burglary and theft over one thousand dollars and Schwartz was arrested and faces charges of theft over two thousand five hundred dollars and violation of probation.
