In an effort to keep loaded firearms out of the hands of children, the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department has received approximately 200 gun cable locks from project child safe.  

These locks will be free to anyone living in Lawrence County and the sheriff's department would like to encourage everyone who has a firearm in their home to get one.  They are available for pick up at the Lawrence County sheriff’s department on West Gaines St. In Lawrenceburg.
