A Rogersville man accused of violating a court order has been arrested after a foot pursuit with law enforcement Friday evening.

According to media sources, 53 year old David Coffman Jr.   disappeared in late October and was spotted Friday night by a sheriff’s deputy in a pasture.

Coffman faces 220 counts of animal cruelty and failure to bury livestock after his herd was discovered in poor condition and some died.

Coffman was out on bail for the charges when he was court ordered to sell his herd, instead he took the animals to property he owns in Limestone County.  He faces both a civil suit and criminal case.  Coffman appeared in court Monday at which time his bond was revoked.
