When the polls closed last night, Giles County voters numbered nearly 10,000….9874 voters cast a ballot in the election.


Pat Ford was re-elected Mayor Of Pulaski with 1,442 votes to Vicki Hastings Harwell’s 871 votes.


Incumbents Jerry Bryant, Hardin C. Franklin, and Pat Miles were re-elected as alderman. Bryant with 1,386 votes, Franklin with 1,231 votes, and Miles with 1,070 votes. Challengers Billy Brymer totaled 744 votes and Jimmy Mooney 701 votes.


Hometown candidate for Tennessee House District 70 Clay Doggett polled 7,191 votes to challenger Jessica Yokely’s 2,210 votes.


In Ardmore, Mike Magnusson will be the new Mayor collecting 175 votes. Others in the race were Ken Crosson with 131 votes, Tim McConnell 63 votes, and Paul T. VanMannen 15 votes.


The Alderman race in Ardmore saw Jason Sherman receive 205 votes, Shane Emerson 196 votes, and Spencer Smith 169 votes to be elected alderman. Wayne Harvel received 168 votes and Joe Stagner 165 votes.
