Rogersville Police Department and the Limestone County Sheriff's Office teamed up Friday to search a home, which led to a foot chase, six arrests and the seizure of drugs and firearms,

The Limestone County Sheriff’s narcotics unit and Rogersville police officers went to 707 W. Pryor St. in Athens at 2 a.m. to serve a search warrant. When investigators arrived, 24-year-old Mark Dylan Stacey of Madison ran from a vehicle in the driveway, tossing a loaded pistol and a bag of methamphetamine as he ran,

Investigators arrested five suspects at the scene and then used tracking dogs from Limestone Correctional Facility to find Stacy a few blocks from the home. Inside the home, investigators found firearms, marijuana, pills, drug paraphernalia and about 5 ounces of methamphetamine.
