The Giles County School System announced Wednesday that the State of Tennessee has released the ACT scores for school systems. According to a press release Giles has broken last year’s record by earning an average of 19.8 on the tests.

This score shows that 39.5 percent of students scored 21 or higher on the ACT scores. That means that 40 percent of Giles County students qualified for scholarship money.

Director Of Schools Phillip Wright said that supervisors, administrators, teachers, and students have worked hard, and he is proud of all educators in Giles County.
