More automotive jobs are heading to Maury County.


Fuel Total Systems will invest $60.9 million to open a manufacturing facility in Mount Pleasant, where it will create 150 jobs, according to a state news release.


The 110,000-square-foot facility will be built in the Cherry Glen Industrial Park.


Fuel Total Systems, based in Japan, makes plastic fuel tank systems and other automotive parts.


“The automotive sector in Tennessee continues to be one of our strongest industries with automotive companies operating in 88 out of our 95 counties,” Gov. Bill Haslam said in the news release.


The CEO of FTS Limited said…“We are very excited to be locating our newest FTS facility in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee.
