The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be conducting driver license safety checkpoints on Highway 31 south of Pulaski at the 14 mile marker from 6:00-7:00pm on Wednesday night.

Recognizing the danger presented to public by unqualified drivers, troopers will concentrate their efforts on vehicles being operated by drivers who violate the driver license laws of Tennessee.

The THP has found these roadside safety checkpoints to be an effective means of enforcing the driver license laws while ensuring the protection of all motorists in the state.
