Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Ethan Hadley and H&M Bay, Inc. announced today (Monday) that the company will establish its eighth cold storage consolidation center in Lawrenceburg. H&M Bay plans to invest $4.5 million and create 10 full-time, and 35 part-time jobs in Lawrence County over the next five years.

H&M Bay will locate operations in the Team Lawrence Commerce Park, a Select Tennessee Certified Site. The company will build a 51,000 square foot facility that will be operational in the second quarter of 2019.

Launched in 2012, the Select Tennessee Certified Sites program helps communities prepare industrial sites for private investment and job creation. To date, businesses have committed to invest more than $1.5 billion and create 6,600 jobs across 16 projects on Select Tennessee Certified Sites.
