Giles Fire & Rescue, Sheriff’s Department, E.M.S. along with the State Fire Marshall’s office and others responded to a house fire at 614 Hurd Road yesterday, which is south of Pulaski off the Bethel rd. Emergency personnel were sent to the scene about 12:30 yesterday afternoon.

Charles Graves age 80 perished in the fire, which remains under investigation by the Fire Marshall’s office. His body was sent to the state for an autopsy.  Reports indicate the house was a total loss and was fully involved by the time firemen arrived.
