The Goats Music & More Festival returns this weekend for its 16th year at Rock Creek Park in Lewisburg, and this year’s lineup of goat shows, musical entertainment and activities for the whole family promises to draw crowds from all across the nation and beyond.

The festival has been honored by the Southeast Tourism Society as a Top 20 Event for October twice. Vendors of all kinds will line the road at Rock Creek Park beginning Friday morning offering lots of great food and more.

For the kids, the Goats, Music and More Festival features a whole section of games and activities including pony rides, a petting zoo, bounce house, mechanical bull and a 35’ slide. Walk or run in the 11th Annual 5K Goat Gallop Saturday morning at 7 a.m.

This year the festival welcomes county musicians Tyler Farr for a show at 8:00pm on Friday and Craig Campbell for a show Saturday at 8:00. Admission to all events is free.
