Emergency responders were called to a Springer Road business early Thursday afternoon after a vehicle struck the building. 

Members of the Lawrenceburg fire and police departments and Lawrence county EMS responded to Massey Jewelers after a vehicle struck the building around 12:30.

Authorities believe the driver accidently pressed the gas pedal instead of the brake which sent the vehicle into the building.  No major injuries were reported. 

This is the third similar crash this year in Lawrence County.  Both One Stop Medical and Fast Pace Medical clinics were damaged by vehicles accidently striking their buildings on separate occasions during recent months.  Lawrenceburg police officers investigated Thursday’s crash.
