Hot air balloons will fire up just before dusk Saturday at the Franklin Hot Air Balloon Festival, which, by the way, seats around 5,000 people.

The balloons hover a couple feet off the ground before making for a breathtaking glow across the pond in the Westhaven community of Franklin, according to WSMV.com, beginning at 8:30 p.m.

There are several balloon festivals in the area, including in Nashville and Murfreesboro. The event is so popular that it may expand to Mt. Juliet.
