Parents and children are invited to W.D. Savage Park Saturday, where there'll be snacks and activities, including a book bag giveaway for students in all grades who'll be returning to school soon.

Children must be present at the park to receive the school bags, which will be given away on a first come, first serve basis, beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday.

W.D. Savage Park is located in the North End of the city at 116 Thomas Street.
