The thought of serving her community on a grand scale never occurred to Joyce Woodard Morgan growing up in the Liberty community. But six years ago today, she took over as Giles County Tourism Director.

And on the very day she took over the helm of local tourism, Morgan was on WKSR's Bonus Hour this morning sharing the news that she is retiring.

The community is invited to stop by the Chamber and Tourism office Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. when a reception will be held in Morgan's honor. Friday will be Morgan's last day.
